How I run my business ...

My family has an entrepreneurial spirit, and I began my own piano teaching business at the age of 14. After I finished my ARCT performers, my ARCT teachers and my AVCM - I officially began "Studio Di Meglio". During those years, my studio thrived with a busting-at-the-seams enrollment of 47 students and I learned that clients were the heart of any business. Giving them quality service and "product" was really the only thing that mattered.

I became the Vice President of our teacher's association in our district and was active in many aspects of the music teaching world. But after the arrival of our first child, I soon realized that the hours I was teaching really took a toll on our "family time" in the home. So I made the difficult decision to stop teaching all together.

But the same principles I had with my studio, are at the heart of RedHanded Photography. That's how RHP keeps growing. By listening to clients, finding out what THEY want, learning about their relationships with others at the shoot - this is what matters to me. It's important to let them know that their voice is heard, so I can give them the images they want - not just give them the images that I want to take.

After all - they say that a referral is the highest compliment ... and that's my goal every time.
